If you are our customer, we will tell you what we do and why. We will tell you what we know and what we don't know. If you work for us, we will tell you what we charge and what you receive.

We use Free and Open Source software for all of our corporate infrastructure. We will show by example that business runs not on secret code, but on skilled people.

We commit ourselves to minimizing our impact on the natural world as much as possible. This means conserving energy, using green technology, and offsetting the harm that is unavoidable.

We will do everything to minimize costs so that we may charge clients as little and pay workers as much as the market will bear. The people who do the work deserve the gain.

The TechnoDane Philosophy

Consider the website you are looking at as an example of our philosophy. It is small, efficient, clean, and simple. There's very little graphics, there's no Javascript or Flash on it. It is completely usable by assistive technology (such as readers for the blind).

We do not avoid any technology that furthers our customer's goals, but neither do we use technology just to use it. Our philosophy is that something that is simple and complete is best. There is a quote we like:

Perfection is acheived not when nothing more can be added, but when nothing more can be taken away

There are two reasons TechnoDane is in business. The first is to meet the customer's needs in the most effective and efficient way possible. The second is because our people do the first one. So we believe in taking care of our customers and our people.
