The second of these tools is a perl module which we plan to release to CPAN called FilePro::Screen. Development on this perl module began on November 28th, 2009. A "version 0.01" release is expected by year end. (We release our alpha tested versions of perl modules as 0.01). The "Screen" module will be considerably more complex to implement than the "Data" module was. The data structures are considerably more complex (with chained structures whose structure is dependent on values in structures earlier in the chain). We may also choose to release version 0.01 support only for some structures with more complex types supported later.
