TechnoDane Subscription Pricing and Service
The subscription plan offers a unique model that can help you to manage your IT costs and offers you some unqiue services and options.
Why subscription?
We have structured our subscription plan to benefit both you and TechnoDane. You need a way to make your IT costs stable and predictable. We need a way to ensure that we can offer our services in a timely and economical manner. What we came up with is a sort of "pre-pay" subscription that smoothes out your expenses and makes sure we can always afford to put your business first. It works something like a retainer for other professional services, but with some considerable value-added features.
We charge $5 per PC per month to cover services that are unique to subscribers. These include:
- Secure web service
- QuickAnswer service
- Harlequin box
- Annual service visit, including
- All computers cleaned, inside and out
- Hardware report with recommendations
- Software report with recommendations
- Quarterly automated security audit and report
This rate is called the "maintenance rate." This covers the value added services subscribers get. But what about when you call for a problem? Well, subscribers get a 10% discount on our hourly rate. But subscribing is all about keeping your expenses predictable. So we don't bill for our service calls. Instead, we ask you to "bank" two hours per computer. You can bank more if you wish. This is the 100% monthly billing rate, or the "banking rate." This is billed at a mere $10 per PC per month.
Calculate your rate
If you wish to bank more time, you can make that choice on your account on our secure web site. So long as your banked time remains at or above our two hour per computer minimum, we will bill at the maintenance rate unless you ask to bank more in a billing cycle (we won't bill at the banking rate unless you explicity request it through the web during the billing cycle). This way, you can choose to "save up" for major work or for other TechnoDane services, such as custom training or software development.
Banked hours are good for ALL TechnoDane Services
Yes, we base our rates on the number of computers, but you can use hours you have banked with us for any of our services. You can use banked hours for customized training, or for custom software development.
Contact us at any time to request any of our services.
You can view your account status, the state of all your computers, your current banked hours, the service history for all your computers, your billing history, current invoice, and so much more at our secure web site.
What if I Need Help Before I've Banked Enough?
No matter what, if you are a subscriber you get the 10% discount on hours. The short answer is that we will work with you. If we are doing our jobs right, you should need fewer and fewer service calls. We reserve the right to bill any "negative" hours on the same net 30 day terms we use for non-subscribers. But we understand that sometimes things just go wrong. This is part of the subscription advantage. The main purpose of the subscription model for us is to make sure that we can pay a technician to attend to your problem immediately. We don't have to wait to collect from customers to pay technicians. This lets us attract and retain top-notch talent. The long answer is we will work on such issues on a case-by-case basis. If it is just a special case, we'll just keep billing you normally. It's all about predictability for you and for us.
